Dick Van Patten

Dick Van Patten was an American actor known for his extensive work in film and television. He gained prominence for his role in the science fiction film Westworld, released in 1973, which was one of the earliest examples of a feature-length film featuring a theme park populated by robots. Van Patten also appeared in the cult classic comedy Spaceballs in 1987, directed by Mel Brooks, where he showcased his comedic talents. Additionally, he played a notable role in Robin Hood: Men in Tights, another Mel Brooks production, which was released in 1993. Throughout his career, Van Patten became recognized for his versatility and enduring presence in the entertainment industry, contributing to various projects spanning several decades.
